I've lived in San Diego since 1977 and have worked in the stained glass industry since 1982. An alumnus of San Diego State University, I began my stained glass career helping a friend with his stained glass business. This friend gave me an opportunity to build leaded glass windows for a local custom door company. This is when stained glass became my full-time occupation and interest.
In 1985, I began a 20-year stint at San Diego's largest stained glass studio and retailer. While working there, I learned everything I could about the stained glass industry. Due to the studio's volume and variety of services, I gained a wealth of experience in the process of creating unique stained glass in a wide variety of applications. From a simple suncatcher to a grand entryway, I learned how to design and create stained glass art based on a client's needs and budget. I take pride in personally engaging with my clients and understanding what they envision for their homes or businesses.
In 2005, I started my own business, operating out of a home studio. One of the rewards of working for myself is being able to go wherever I am needed to see and understand exactly what the customer needs in the setting of their own home. My experience in the stained glass industry has allowed to me to fully understand every step of the process, but my small business allows me more flexibility to better understand my clients' needs, offer on-site repairs, and give more personal customer service.
I live in North County with my wife, two daughters, and a chocolate lab. I enjoy being with my family, traveling, and cycling in my spare time. I hope to work with you in the near future, and please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or are interested in my work.
