Sometimes stained glass windows are too old or too damaged to be repaired on-site; this is where restoration comes in. One problem with older/antique windows is that the lead stretches and sags. Often the putty that keeps the window waterproof and from rattling shrinks and falls out. These problems, common in older windows, can be solved through restoration of the window.
I restore the window to its original condition and renew its strength and durability while keeping the design and character of the original window the same. I strive to match any damaged glass in order to maintain the original appearance of the window.
